Originally informed by sculpture and art theory Andreas is interested in the relationship status between these fields and has been working with photography and moving image as intermediaries for years. Lately he has returned to sculpture, while retaining the abstract geometric forms and the principle of scattering – be it fog or light itself – in his artistic language. The works on view explore the balance between cultural and natural artifacts.
