David Benrimon Fine Art was founded by David Benrimon in 2004 in the heart of New York’s Midtown Manhattan to advise collectors and investors on the dynamic world of Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary Art. With over 30 years experience, David Benrimon has the distinct advantage of understanding the art market from many different angles. His art world career began with framing and curating when he founded Varick Street Framing in 1977 and Central Art Framing in the 1980s to serve Manhattan’s growing artistic community. Both companies served as a haven for helping dealers such as Leo Castelli and artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol realize their vision through framing. As the art community in SoHo grew, David acquired important works by artists that would later become part of art history. In 2019, the gallery moved to the renowned Fuller Building on 57th Street and Madison Avenue to expand its exhibition space. David Benrimon Fine Art curates historic exhibitions by Modern, Post-War and Contemporary artists, which include “Sam Francis: Abstract Impressionist” (2020); “Ed Ruscha: Six Decades of Printmaking” (2019); “Tom Wesselmann: Steelcuts” (2019); and “Fernando Botero” (2019).
